The City of Hartsville Administrative Offices will be closed from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 to allow our employees to enjoy a Christmas Lunch together.

Hartsville Museum Receives SC Humanities Grant

The Hartsville Museum is proud to announce that they have been awarded a major grant from the South Carolina Humanities for the H.H. Butler—Grand United Order of Odd Fellows Digitization Project. Hartsville’s Hidden Hero for the month of July is Andrea Steen. Andrea has been with the City of Hartsville for 4 years and is currently serving as the Museum Manager at the Hartsville Museum. She leads a small staff at the Museum and has a true passion for telling the story of Hartsville. One huge aspect of the story of Hartsville is collecting both artifacts and information from people about the Hartsville that may be untold.

City of Hartsville Announces Reopening of Tourism Facilities

The City of Hartsville will be reopening additional facilities with modified operations. The next phase of reopening includes facilities in the City’s Tourism Department including The Key to Your Hartsville and The Hartsville Museum.

The Hartsville Museum presents the Darkside Tour of Hartsville

 

The Hartsville Museum presents the Second Annual Darkside Tour of Hartsville this October. There will be two tours, one starting at 7:00 p.m. and one at 8:00 p.m. in the evenings on October 25th-26th and October 29th-31st. Hartsville Museum Hosts Art Exhibits

The Hartsville Museum’s W. Reaves McCall Gallery and Conference Room will host two art exhibits during the month of March. The first exhibit features works from students in the Governor’s School for Science and Math’s Art in the Interim Program.
