In order to respect the judicial process, the Hartsville Police Department enforces a dress code during court sessions. If you are appearing before our judge, please come dressed appropriately.
Appropriate courtroom attire includes:
- No shorts
- No tank tops/muscle shirts
- No house shoes/bedroom shoes
- No low-cut shirts/blouses
- No hats
- No sunglasses
- No pajamas
- No shirts with obscene language
- No inappropriate graphics
- Shoes must be worn at all times
- No exposed underclothing
- Shirts must be tucked in
- No torn/ripped pants
