2018 Screen on the Green season continues with Hidden Figures, sponsored by The Children’s Group P.C.

WHERE: Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way, Hartsville, SC
WHEN: Saturday, June 23, dusk (9:06 p.m. or later)
Hartsville, SC – Screen on the Green, the City of Hartsville’s free series of summertime movies, will present Hidden Figures, sponsored by The Children’s Group P.C., on Sat., June 23. The screening will take place in Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way.
Hidden Figures is the story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. The film is rated PG for thematic elements and some language.
The showing begins at dusk, 9:06 p.m. or later. Viewers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets if desired. In the event of rain, the showing will relocate to the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center at Byerly Park, located at 701 W Washington St in Hartsville.
Following this event, Screen on the Green will continue throughout the rest of the summer with the following schedule:
- July 14 – Despicable Me 3 sponsored by Darlington Raceway
- July 28 – Jumanji (2017) sponsored by Darlington County Sheriff’s Department and Darlington County Fire Department
- August 11 – Guardians of the Galaxy sponsored by Hartsville Police Department and Fire Department (Heroes Night Out special showing)
