2018 Screen on the Green season continues with Moana, sponsored by Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center
WHAT: Screen on the Green “Moana,” sponsored by Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center
WHERE: Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way, Hartsville, S.C.
WHEN: Saturday, June 9, dusk (9:01 p.m. or later)
Hartsville, SC – Screen on the Green, the City of Hartsville’s free series of summertime movies, will present “Moana,” sponsored by the Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, on Sat., June 9. The screening will take place in Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way.
Moana is the story of a girl in Ancient Polynesia. When a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches Moana’s island, she answers the Ocean’s call to seek out the Demigod to set things right. This film is rated PG for peril, some scary images and brief thematic elements.
The showing begins at dusk, 9:01 p.m. or later. Viewers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets if desired. In the event of rain, the showing will relocate to the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center at Byerly Park, located at 701 W Washington St in Hartsville.

We will be sharing some healthy summer surprises before the film Moana begins so be sure to bring your family by our tent!”
Following this event, Screen on the Green will continue throughout the rest of the summer with the following schedule:
- June 23 – Hidden Figures sponsored by The Children’s Group
- July 14 – Despicable Me 3 sponsored by Darlington Raceway
- July 28 – Jumanji (2017) sponsored by Darlington County Sheriff’s Department and Darlington County Fire Department
- August 11 – Guardians of the Galaxy sponsored by Hartsville Police Department and Fire Department (Heroes Night Out special showing)
