The City of Hartsville African American Cemetery Committee will have a Dedication Ceremony of the Historical Marker placed at the Marion Avenue Cemetery at 11 a.m. on January 21, 2019. In anticipation of heavy rainfall this weekend, the Hartsville Christmas Parade previously scheduled for December 8, 2018 has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 16th at 3 p.m. City officials made this decision out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all participants, safety workers, viewers, and organizers.
