Heart of the Holidays Downtown Open House and Centennial Tree Lighting

The City of Hartsville will host the Annual Heart of the Holidays Downtown Open House and Centennial Tree Lighting on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Downtown Hartsville will come alive with holiday festivities, late night shopping, Annual Centennial Tree lighting, pictures and visits with Santa, holiday movie on the big screen, along with much more.

HPD Investigates Shooting October 31 2022

On Sunday, October 30, 2022, at or around 8:30 p.m., the Hartsville Police Department received a report of a shooting on Security Drive in Hartsville, SC. When officers arrived, it was discovered one male victim had been taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities believe this to be an isolated event.
