Startsville is an initiative of the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation that expands upon the success of the school by serving as an entrepreneurial hub for students, alumni, and the community.
Startsville supports economic development efforts in Hartsville, S.C, the Pee Dee, and the state as the founders of SC’s first Rural Innovation Network a private-public partnership of universities, city governments, community foundations, and business incubators seeking to share knowledge, resources, and practices across the geographic areas of rural South Carolina to address the challenges we all share.
