This annual event is sponsored by the City of Hartsville and Keep Darlington County Beautiful. Volunteers work together to clear away trash and debris from road right-of-ways around town.

The Coker College Dance Program presents the Spring Informal Dance Concert on Thursday May 3 at 7:30pm in the Watson Theater of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center. This performance will feature choreography from the Coker College dance classes. The Coker Repertory Dance Company and Venomous Hip Hop Dance Club will perform as well. This event is FREE and open to the public.
On Saturday, May 5th, at West Hartsville Baptist Church (1003 West Carolina Ave.) at 7 p.m. the Hartsville Community Chorus will present their spring concert, the exciting oratorio “Elijah,” by Mendelssohn. The HCC, directed by Dr. James Beaumier, will be joined by Hartsville High School Choirs and the Long Bay Symphony. “Elijah” is a romantic era favorite telling the dramatic story of the old testament prophet Elijah. Uncle Shane's Fish Tank plays a mix of funk, fusion, and jazz. The band formed as a joke amongst friends at FMU, but they had so much fun they just kept it going!
