The Planning Commission is responsible for a continuing planning program for the physical, social, and economic growth, development, and redevelopment of the city. They meet the last Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. The agenda can be found here.

The Parks Committee acts as a study group to find ways to operate the parks in an efficient and successful manner, enhancing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the community.
