Connections after Hours are held monthly from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Chamber members host these events in their place of business so they can promote their products/services. Business cards are also collected from those in attendance and given to the host at the end of the evening. Members who attend have an opportunity to be drawn to give a 60-second infomercial about their business.
For one week each summer, pianists in grades 7-12 from across South Carolina converge upon Coker College for the annual Summer Piano Institute. Students this year are from Columbia, Rock Hill, Chesterfield, Sumter, and Hartsville. They work closely with Coker College faculty and with one another to present an end-of-the-week recital in the Hannah Lide Coker Recital Hall. Please join them to hear their accomplishments!

The Marching Band been working hard during the camp to put together a performance for the community of Hartsville. They will perform the first 3 movements of the 2017 competition and do a stand still of their 4th movement. As viewers, you can come behind the scenes as the band will replicate the ideal contest setting. Arrive early so you can see the students warm-up and march the field. I are expecting a large crowd to come out.
