HPD Investigates Shooting October 31 2022
On Sunday, October 30, 2022, at or around 8:30 p.m., the Hartsville Police Department received a report of a shooting on Security Drive in Hartsville, SC. When officers arrived, it was discovered one male victim had been taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities believe this to be an isolated event.

The City of Hartsville will recognize trick-or-treating on Monday, October 31, 2022. The City does not set a time for trick-or-treating but leaves that to individual residents.
