Neptune Island Waterpark will host the final job fair of the season on March 23, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Neptune Island Waterpark Management Crew will be on site to answer any questions and accept in-person applications for their various seasonal positions. Neptune Island Offers Rewards for Good Grades

Neptune Island Waterpark is excited to announce an incentive for students to make good grades as they finish out the school year. The Hartsville, South Carolina waterpark is debuting the Splashin’ Grades Program during their second season at the park. Hartsville Museum Hosts Art Exhibits

The Hartsville Museum’s W. Reaves McCall Gallery and Conference Room will host two art exhibits during the month of March. The first exhibit features works from students in the Governor’s School for Science and Math’s Art in the Interim Program. The second exhibit is the South Carolina State Museum’s 2018 Palmetto Hands Fine Craft Traveling Exhibition. Both exhibits will be on display at The Hartsville Museum.

Hartsville Roundabout Update and Safety Tips

 

The contractor for the South Carolina Department of Transportation plans to switch the traffic pattern around the roundabout construction on Friday, February 22nd. This traffic pattern switch will open West Carolina Avenue (using the roundabout) and close West Home Avenue and Trailwood Drive near the roundabout. We ask that everyone please exercise an abundance of patience and caution during this transition for your safety and the safety of those around you.

Expanded Playground at Byerly Park Officially Open

 

The City of Hartsville Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the opening of the new expanded handicapable playground on the campus of Byerly Park. The playground is located between the tennis courts and the track and field area. This new and improved playground is an expansion to Garrison’s Place, previously located just outside of Neptune Island Waterpark.
