Free Youth Flights at Hartsville Flight Fest

The Hartsville Regional Airport will host the annual Hartsville Flight Fest this weekend, April 5-6, 2019. The event begins on Friday night, April 5th with a showing of Planes on the runway beginning at 7:45 p.m. Pizza will be provided for the movie while supplies last. The weekend event will continue on Saturday, April 6th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with events including a Young Eagles Day, Story Time, and Crafts in the Hanger for those in attendance. […]

Community Easter Eggstravaganza

On Saturday, April 13th, at 10 a.m., the City of Hartsville and Coker College will host the Community Easter Eggstravaganza, at Coker College’s Davidson Hall lawn located at 300 East College Avenue. Sergeant John Specht is Hartsville’s Hidden Hero for the month of March. Sergeant Specht has been with the City of Hartsville Police Department for 25 years. He currently serves the Police Department as a Patrol Sergeant and the Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter. The Hartsville Museum’s W. Reaves McCall Gallery and Conference Room will host two art exhibits during the month of March. The first exhibit features works from students in the Governor’s School for Science and Math’s Art in the Interim Program. Hartsville Roundabout Update and Safety Tips

The contractor for the South Carolina Department of Transportation plans to switch the traffic pattern around the roundabout construction on Friday, February 22nd. This traffic pattern switch will open West Carolina Avenue (using the roundabout) and close West Home Avenue and Trailwood Drive near the roundabout. Auten in conjunction with the Hartsville Fire Department will be hosting a Butt Bog Fundraiser to benefit the Hartsville Fire Department on March 1, 2019.
