Hartsville Police Department Holiday Sober or Slammer Campaign

The Hartsville Police Department will be participating in the 2018/2019 Holiday Sober or Slammer Campaign that runs from December 14th until January 1st. In coordination with this campaign, Hartsville Police Department officers will increase enforcement efforts throughout the city, including public safety checkpoints. The Hartsville Police Department’s DUI Officer will be working peak enforcement hours as a part of this campaign. Hartsville Christmas Parade Rescheduled

In anticipation of heavy rainfall this weekend, the Hartsville Christmas Parade previously scheduled for December 8, 2018 has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 16th at 3 p.m. City officials made this decision out of an abundance of caution for the safety of all participants, safety workers, viewers, and organizers. Hartsville Christmas Parade is Coming Soon!

One of the most well-kept holiday traditions in the Hartsville community is the Hartsville Christmas Parade. Neptune Island Concludes Successful First Season

Neptune Island Waterpark opened its doors to the public on June 18, 2018 and concluded its season on September 9, 2018. During the first season, Neptune Island saw over 64,000 guests in the brand new waterpark and projects to see 80,000 next season. The waterpark had over 6,000 season pass holders that frequented the waterpark this summer. Neptune Island welcomed visitors from a total of 25 states and a large volume of attendees within a 75 mile radius of Hartsville, SC.

Hartsville Fire Department’s Annual Toys for Tots Giveaway

The Hartsville Fire Department is now accepting applications for their annual Toys for Tots Giveaway. Local families that are in need this Christmas may apply for assistance through this program in person at Hartsville Fire Department, 111 S. Seventh Street or online at hartsvillesc.gov/government/forms/toys-for-tots-application/. Applications will be accepted until November 30th, 2018.
