Hartsville Police Department’s DUI Project – Final Report 2020

From October 2019 to September 2020, the Hartsville Police Department DUI Officer worked hard on this project to keep Hartsville safe for those who live, work, and visit our great city.  Despite some of the inactive time due to the pandemic and other “road blocks” that we encountered along the way, the DUI project was still successful in 2019-2020.

Sober or Slammer Campaign Efforts and Results

The Hartsville Police Department participated in the Sober or Slammer Campaign from 08/21/2020 to 09/07/2020.  During this campaign, officers increased enforcement efforts including aggressive patrols for impaired drivers.  Please help us keep the roads safe by not drinking and driving or getting a designated driver to take you home.  If you see an impaired driver, please call 911 or *HP immediately. Hartsville Police Department Flag Dedication Ceremony

 

The Hartsville Police Department’s Investigation Division hosted a flag and flagpole dedication ceremony on June 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. City staff and special guests attended the ceremony which was followed by an open house and tour of the newly renovated Investigation Division located at 626 North Fifth Street, Hartsville. Holiday Sober or Slammer! Campaign

The Hartsville Police Department (HPD), South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS), and law enforcement partners statewide will conduct stringent enforcement of impaired driving laws as part of its Sober or Slammer! campaign beginning December 13, 2019 through January 1, 2020.
