In late July, the City of Hartsville hosted the Boudreaux Group, a firm contracted to assist in creating a new Masterplan for the city with an emphasis on housing, redevelopment, and a comprehensive marketing and retail study. The Masterplan will focus on key areas, including South Hartsville and the 4th & Railroad Redevelopment Project.
Over the course of three days, several public meetings were held to gather ideas and input from the community. At the conclusion of these meetings, the Boudreaux Group shared their preliminary findings, which are included in the attached document: City of Hartsville Preliminary Charrette Presentation 07.31.24
In addition to the public meetings, a month-long survey process was conducted to collect further feedback. The community was encouraged to participate in the survey, which was open until 5:00 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2024.
A final presentation, combining the findings from the public meetings and surveys, will be made available as soon as it is ready.
