Volunteers will meet at the Historical Marion Ave Cemetery Saturday morning at 9am to continue surveying and restoring this important part of our City’s history and culture.

The cemetery, about two acres in area, was founded in 1904 and is the final resting place for many notable Hartsville citizens including Professor H.H. Butler, veterans from the Spanish American War through Vietnam, and a cross section of the African American community.

The workshop will be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.
