The Hartsville Area Recreation Department will host a blood drive at the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center, 701 W. Washington St., on Wednesday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Donation times may be scheduled by contacting Darlene Brown at 843.339.2878, or visiting www.redcrossblood.org, with sponsor code “cityofhartsville.”
Generally, donors are eligible if they are in good health and feeling well, at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with parental consent, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Additional weight requirements apply to donors 18 years old and younger, as well as all high school donors. More information on eligibility may be found at www.redcrossblood.org.
