Notice of Public Hearing Concerning Needs Assessment

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the City of Hartsville will hold a public hearing in Council Chambers, 100 East Carolina Avenue, Hartsville, SC to solicit public input on community needs and priorities for housing, public facilities, and economic development. At this public hearing, the city will provide the results of its needs assessment and the activities which might be undertaken to meet identified needs, including the estimated amount proposed to be used for activities that will benefit persons of low and moderate-income.
This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject of the provisions of the City of Hartsville’s Citizen Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the State of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Program, providing for the participation of the citizens of the City of Hartsville in the planning and implementation of the community and economic development projects which will involve CDBG funds. The Citizen Participation Plan is available for review at the city between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM weekdays.
