The City of Hartsville’s Screen on the Green free movie series will continue its 2016 season on Saturday, June 11 with a showing of the animated hit movie, “Inside Out”, sponsored by The Children’s Group. The movie showing will take place in Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way, at dusk, 8:15 p.m. or later.
“Inside Out” is a highly acclaimed, award-winning 2015 animated adventure film in which the main character, Riley, has just moved from the calm Midwest to busy San Francisco. Her vibrant emotions Anger, Joy, Fear, Sadness, and Disgust work together to help Riley through her transition. The movie is rated PG for mild thematic elements and mild action. It has a run time of approximately 95 minutes.
Moviegoers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to Burry Park. In the event of rain, the showing will move to Byerly Park’s Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center, 701 W. Washington St. in Hartsville.
The series will continue every other Saturday until early August. The remaining dates are:

July 23 – “Cinderella (2015),” sponsored by North Industrial Machine
August 13 – “Zootopia,” sponsored by the Hartsville Fire Police Department and Fire Department
